. #3. There's no self diagnosis option on the B6 I don't think. If the ECON light remains on it means the compressor is of, ie the AC system has isolated it due to a fault, maybe just low gas. The demist fault is down to a sticky mechanism/solenoid, I posted the repair thread in answer to your other question.
SoI have read all the posts about the MMI screen not turning on. Most of which say its temperature related. I dont quite buy that. My 2011 S4 is always in a garage and internal temps are not hot. My screen went dead yesterday. Everything else still works.. radio, etc. I removed the screen to check for any possible damage.. looks super
Thecord seems to be working for charging the phone but that maybe one component of the cable plug that is working. Try using the OEM Apple cable and see if that works. I have seen all sorts of components being finicky if not using OEM cords. If the OEM cord doesnt work, then you know its something else. It could be the update to the iOS Settings> General > CarPlay > Your Car Name > Forget This Car > Forget. Once you have removed your A4 from your iPhone, you can reconnect the USB cable and set up the connection again. This can help fix any bugs or glitches that may have caused the initial connection issues and allow CarPlay to work properly. 5. Todayit's not working at all, but now on FM and AM stations.
