Andy Robinson. Modern Warfare 2’s ping system has seemingly been disabled, after players discovered it could be used to track enemy players through walls for entire matches. As reported by Eurogamer, within hours of players sharing footage of the glitch on social media, the ping system now appears to have been disabled in-game.
Popularized by Apex Legends, the ping system has become a staple in many multiplayer games, including Modern Warfare 2.
