I’m using Zwift on a Windows 10 laptop. I recently bought a new Garmin HRM Pro as it has the BTE to transmit and record on Zwift; also using a Kickr Core. I am regularly seeing the HRM dopout without warning and I lose any HRM recording - no warning or pattern noticed. No clue why you are connecting it to the app instead of the watch. This may be why you're having problems? Disconnect it from the app and then try to connect to the watch. I'm pretty sure you're unable to connect both in tandem. ( At least it shouldn't be possible ) You can have the HRM Pro paired with both the app and the watch.
NOTE: Stay 10 m (33 ft.) away from other wireless sensors while pairing. Hold . Select Sensors & Accessories > Add New. Select Search All Sensors. Select your sensor type. After the sensor is paired with your device, the sensor status changes from Searching to Connected. Sensor data appears in the data screen loop or a custom data field.
Coros won't know what to do with all the other stuff. If you have the strap already, you can use it, but if you're buying the strap specifically to use with a Coros, you can save a lot of money and get something without all the bells and whistles that won't do anything. Garmin Connect will not replace hr data from the watch with hr data from the hrm-pro for a timed activity. It could fill in the gap in the 24/7 hr data timeline, but I assume that would depend on your "preferred tracker" setting.
